Deiniol Williams is a Welsh ceramic artist whose work explores the interplay between rhythm and discord, balance and disorder. He incorporates raw and unrefined materials into his clay, seeking harmony between the rhythmic flow of the potter's wheel and the disruptive inclusions within the modified clay. Many of these materials are collected from his ancestral family farm in Wales, pushing his throwing skills to the limit.
In addition to making wood-fired ceramics, Deiniol also creates earthenware tiles based on original medieval designs and geometric patterns. He has exhibited his work in various galleries and events, including the Ceramic Art London. Notably, he created the 'Warp and Weft' mural on Tib Street in Manchester, which tells the story of the area's history as 'pet paradise'.
