Dan Jones

Dan Jones is a British artist renowned for his vibrant landscape paintings that capture the essence of the natural world. He creates mixed media artworks, often combining oil, ink, and acrylics, occasionally incorporating collage elements made from found materials. His creative process blends 'en plein air' sessions with studio work, allowing him to rework pieces started outdoors or to create new compositions from memory.

In 2022, Jones held an exhibition titled 'Pub Walks' at the New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham, Surrey. This exhibition explored the British tradition of combining hiking with visits to local pubs, featuring paintings of his favourite local pubs and the surrounding natural settings.
